Daniel Duprez is Professor of Medicine, Don and Pat Garofalo Chair for Preventive Cardiology and Director of Research at Rasmussen Center for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention. He is Associate Director of the Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Center.

His clinical interests focus on cardiovascular prevention, hypertension, lipid disorders, vascular disease, and heart failure. His research interests range from arterial mechanics and stiffness to aldosterone, neurohumoral factors, clinical trials events evaluation, intima-media thickness, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, new parameters for early detection of atherosclerosis, and peripheral circulation. Professor Duprez is dedicated to helping to improve early detection of cardiovascular disease and consequently trying to look for new effective therapeutic approaches to educate these strategies on a national and international level.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the European Society of Cardiology, and a Member of the American Society of Hypertension, the International Society of Hypertension, and the International Union of Angiology.
