The research focus of the Davis laboratory at Ordway Research Institute is directed at understanding how thyroid hormone works on a molecular level and what cellular effects result from these actions.
Dr Davis's special interests include thyroid hormone action, thyroid cancer and signal transduction.

Head of Faculty: Diabetes & Endocrinology (since 26 November 2007)

Paul Davis is a Head of Faculty for the DIABETES & ENDOCRINOLOGY Faculty. The role of a Head of Faculty is to help divide the Faculty (specialty) into Sections (sub-specialty areas), nominate leaders in those areas as Section Heads, and offer ongoing advice on the strategic direction of the service. They are not asked to evaluate articles, although we do, of course, welcome them.
