Hong Wei Chu is researcher and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Centre and National Jewish Medical and Research Center.

His research interests include asthma immunopathology and molecular pathology; involvement of Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia pneumonia in the pathogenesis of chronic asthma; and airway remodeling in asthma.
