Paulus Kirchhof

Paulus Kirchhof is Attending Physician in the Department of Cardiology and Angiology, Hospital of the University of Münster. He is Associate Professor of Medicine within the Medical Faculty of the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster.
In 2004, he won the Woldemar-Mobitz Award of the German Society of Cardiology and, in 2006, he received the Bruno Kisch Prize of the German Cardiac Society (DGK). He is a Member of the German Society of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology, the Heart Rhythm Society, and the German Society of Pharmacology and Toxicology. He is Editorial Board Member of Heart Rhythm and Europace and Editorial Consultant to the Lancet. He is also a Member of the European North-Atlantic Atrial Fibrillation Research Alliance (ENAFRA), the Collaborative Research Center “Molecular Cardiovascular Imaging”, and the Interdisciplinary Center for Clinical Research (IZKF) Münster.
