Awards: Include research awards from the Stanford University School of Medicine and Analgesiology and Headache Section, American Society of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics: Best Abstract.

Memberships: Professor Angst is a member of the IASP, The American Society of Anesthesiologists, International Anesthesia Research society and formerly a member of the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics.

Professor Angst attends a number of hospital and academic appointments including WOC-Consultant, Department of Anesthesiology, Veterans Hospital.
He has written 2 book chapters, 33 peer reviewed articles, 27 abstracts and also given 13 invited presentations/lectures.
