Research interests:
Dr Figlin is a Senior Investigator in Translational Research with more than 20 years of expertise in designing & conducting clinical trials in lung & kidney cancer. He is the Co-Principal Investigator & the Director of the Clinical Core for the NCI funded phase III chemoprevention trial, investigating green tea phenol extract, erlotonib, an EGFR receptor antagonist in superficial bladder cancer. Dr Figlin has performed clinical investigations as a Principal Investigator in phase I, II & III trials focusing on cell, immune, genetic & target-based therapy in solid tumor oncology.
