Vincent Danel

Vincent Danel is Head of the Toxicology Information Centre at the University Hospital Grenoble. He is a qualified Eurotox toxicologist.

He is an expert on acute poisonings, chemical weapons and the effects of environmental pollution and is very much involved in various fields of clinical toxicology at a national and international level.

Professor Danel is Chairman of the French Société de Toxicologie Clinique. He is a member of the European Association of Poison Control Centres and Clinical Toxicologists and a number of other toxicology societies in France. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Toxicology - Clinical Toxicology and of the French Journal Européen des Urgences. Professor Danel chairs an experts committee on chemical substances within the French Environmental Health Agency.
