Christopher Kramer is Professor of Radiology and Internal Medicine and Director of Cardiac MRI at the Departments of Radiology and Medicine, University of Virginia.

His interests include cardiac MRI in ischemic heart disease in animal models and humans; myocardial viability in acute and chronic ischemic heart disease; left ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction; and imaging of atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease.

He is the Vice President of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR) and member of the Imaging Committee and the Clinical Cardiology program committee of the American Heart Association.
