Franco Mantero

Franco Mantero is Professor of Endocrinology and Medicine, Chairman of the Division of Endocrinology and Director of the Post-graduate School of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the Padua University Hospital.

His major fields of interest are endocrine hypertension, adrenal tumors and pituitary disorders.

He has served on the Editorial Board of a number of international journals, including Steroids, Journal of Hypertension, Clinical Endocrinology, Journal of Endocrinology Investigations. He is at present Member of the Executive Committee of the International Society of Endocrinology. In 1992, Professor Mantero received the Special Award for Scientific Achievements from the Italian Society of Endocrinology.
