Methods used in our laboratory:
-Models of meningitis and labyrintihtis, model of vasogenic brain edema
-Cell culture systems (e.g., cerebral endothelial cells, human granulocytes)
-Measurement of cerebral blood flow using laser Doppler flowmetry, monitoring of intracranial pressure and blood-brain barrier permeability
-RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, Western blot, chemiluminescence, zymography
-Gene array, Protein array.
