Prevention of osteoporosis; role of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and prostaglandins in bone resorption and formation; effects of mechanical loading on bone; molecular regulation of COX-2 transcription and mRNA stability; role of COX-2 in cell proliferation and apoptosis.
