Dr. Harris is an infectious disease physician and epidemiologist whose research interests include emerging pathogens, antimicrobial-resistant bacteria, infection control interventions, epidemiologic methods in infectious diseases and medical informatics. He has published over 45 papers and has funding from the National Institute of Health to study antibiotic resistance.
