Research interests: Our research interests focus on adolescent eating disorders, especially anorexia and bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder as well as neurobiological and endocrinological research in neuropsychiatric disorders like ADHD, autism and Tourette syndrome.

Biography: Licensed Pediatrician and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist; Since 2001 Secretary of the German Journal of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy; Since 2002 Member of the Board of the German Scientific Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy; Since 2004 President of the German Scientific Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy; Since 1998 Member of the Eating Disorder Research Society.
