Professor of Psychiatry since 1998, Department of Psychiatry, University of Medicine, Rouen, France; Coordinator of the psychiatric activities in the university hospital; President of the federation of addictions; PhD in Neurosciences.

Research interests: Schizophrenia (genetics - vulnerability markers - endophenotypes such as SPEM or P50), Sex offenders and antiandrogen treatment, Neurosciences.

She is a member of several international societies in psychiatry and neurosciences, as well as a member of international scientific committees. She co-organized one Northern European meeting (2004) with German, Belgian and French colleagues, and one Southern European meeting will be held in 2005 with Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and Greek colleagues.

She has been also the treasurer of the French Society for Biological Psychiatry since 2000. She is a member of several national boards for research (INSERM) and psychiatry (national board of assessment of professors). She is co-coordinator of a master in psychopharmacology (Paris VI). She is expert for the French Drug Agency. She obtained several national awards.

Professor Thibaut is currently in charge of the finances of the World Federation of Societies for Biological Psychiatry as associate secretary-treasurer.

Her publications include more than 75 scientific papers and 20 books chapters.
